OUR PROJECTS

As with any historic building, there is a long list of regular maintenance and repair work required, many specified by the architect in his five-yearly Quinquennial Inspection of the church building.

There are a number of repair projects that we are fundraising for, such as the following (with approximate costings):

 

•   Mortar repairs and repointing for the stonework; £12,000

•   Replace missing and damaged roof tiles: £10,000

•   Timber preservation:  £5,000

•   Improve drainage from tower: £40,000

•   Window repairs: £20,000

Future Projects

​

•   We don’t have a toilet, which significantly limits the use and hire of the building: £50,000
